What We Do
At Spiritual Care Consultants, we meet with individuals who are in need of specific help to assist with burdens of today's environment or struggling with spiritual issues. This meeting is done through a one-on-one consulting session with a trained Spiritual Care Consultant. The Spiritual Care Consultant's mission is to provide the individual with both a short term and long-term spiritual care plan. These plans include assisting the individual with both physical and emotional recovery by taking them through the SCC healing process, connecting the individual to faith and finding strength in any existing ties between that person and their local church community. Our consultants are both a support to individuals and the medical and corporate communities across West Michigan.

Today’s economy and the ever-increasing demands placed on individuals can raise possible issues that may affect people's health, including and not limited to, anger, forgiveness, fear, guilt, loss, grief, stress, worry, insecurity, bitterness, low self-esteem, and conflict.
Making An Appointment
If you, or a loved one would like to make an appointment, please call 269-929-2901. Our mission is to assist in balancing mind, body, and spirit through our unique “Heart of Healing” process. We are currently offering in-office visits, as well as virtual visits.
*If you, your friend, or a loved one does not have a current primary care physician, we can also assist in the referral of one.
What To Expect
You will receive a reminder phone call the day before your appointment. When you arrive for your appointment, you will check in with the receptionist at the front desk and advise them you are here to see a Spiritual Care Consultant. You will be asked to take a seat in our main reception room before your consultant comes to personally greet you for your session.
There are also two forms that you will complete at this time, with the final evaluation form being administered at your last session. As a patient of Spiritual Care Consultants, you will receive free consulting sessions as we provide healing for your emotions that have caused you pain, and new pathways for your mind, so you can live in health and wellness.
In case of a virtual visit, we will send you forms and information via e-mail and/or mail prior to your first visit, as well as your instructions or link to your preferred online communication platform (Facetime, Zoom, Skype or Facebook Messenger).
During each consulting session, there will always be at least 2 Spiritual Care Consultants in the room at one time to assist and make the session as comfortable as possible for you. In addition, a Spiritual Care Consultant will conduct check-ins with you at 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 1 1/2-2 years, and 2 1/2-3 years to make sure you are still on your path of emotional and spiritual recovery. Our goal is to see that each of our clients are successfully using the tools they have received and to see if they need any additional tools or resources.Â
We are proud that each of our members serve our local communities in a vast way and continue the expressive goal of establishing spiritual care, education, and healing to all health-related institutions and individuals throughout Michigan.
At Spiritual Care Consultants, we assist in balancing individual’s mind, body, and spirit by providing free consulting sessions and many individuals are referred by their primary care doctor. We also assist youth, both in-office and onsite at local schools. All sessions are provided one-on-one with specially trained Spiritual Care Consultants.
